One of Southern California�s best golf courses is now even better. A 2011 summertime renovation has made the Champions Club easier and more enjoyable. We�ve removed 16 punishing fairway and greenside bunkers and now offer a more enjoyable golfing experience. Additionally, several bunkers are now less deep for easier exits and several fairways have been opened for carts to eliminate hilly treks. One characteristic remains � year-round great course conditions.
�People were losing too many balls, posting very high scores. We�ve removed several bunkers, made the bunkers we kept easier to play from and now offer a more enjoyable experience. If the low handicap player wants one of the toughest challenges in Southern California, that�s what our back tees are for. If the mid to high handicap player wants to have fun, that�s what our forward tees are for. Golf should be fun for everyone,� said general manager, Flint Nelson.
